People we reach through community engagement
Last year we engaged with over 60 statutory, charity, educational, community, faith based and private sector organisations to raise awareness of asylum issues. In 2015/16 this included, Nunthorpe Mother’s Union, Middlesbrough and Teesside Philanthropic Foundation, National Association of Councillors, Cleveland Association of Trades Union Councils, Government Office North East, Teesside and Durham Universities, Cleveland Police Independent Advisory Group, Tees Esk and Wear Valley NHS Mental Health Trust, Regional Refugee Forum and all 4 local council partnerships involved with the Syrian Resettlement Programme (Darlington, Durham County, Hartlepool and Redcar and Cleveland).
