Thank you to everyone who took part in the Mary Thompson Fund Walk on 20th June 2015 – it is a partner charity, and it helps support the food parcels we give to those who find themselves destitute following the asylum process in the UK
The walk took place from Grosmont to Goathland on 20th June in torrential rain! It didn’t, however, dampen our spirits and we received a lovely warm welcome from Jackie Fearnley when we stopped for lunch at Brereton Lodge. The lunch was kindly provided by Red Cross. Sponsorship money is still coming in, and we should know how much we have raised in the next few weeks.
